A cry of Africa: World Donate to Save a Life in Africa ~ Top Consumer Information

Wars, tribalism, corruption, unemployment, disasters, hunger, poverty, dictatorship, poor governance and so on is what comes to many people’s mind many when they think of Africa, and this makes the continent darker than ever. Let’s accept this facts Africa and find for lasting solution. Africa is a virgin continent, least explored and with so many resources. So what makes Africa lag behind with people dying for hunger? The world should donate to save a life in Africa.

Somalia for instance and parts of Northern Kenya, people are dying emaciated and weak. Their pictures cause disturbance when I see them but governments are denying knowledge of that. Government ministers are who are living in luxury are denying facts that are happening. They are indulging yet people are dying. To save people from dying in Kenya for instance, the famous “Kenyan to Kenyan” where Kenyans were contributing to fellow Kenya was so successful. Within a week more than $10,000,000 was raised. Thanks to Safaricom, Google and Coca Cola for the generous contributions. This is an urge for the rest world to donate to save a life in Africa.

Having grown and lived in Africa, I have the best understanding of the problems that Africa has. First, exploitations for developed countries; like it, hate it is true. Personally from my desperation and lack of employment, I decided to do online jobs. Most clients were from the “Mighty US” they refused to hire me directly because I am from Africa, later I was hired by middle person from Canada who gave me the work at a minimal rate. Several I have worked for some clients did not even pay me. This is exploitation from the lowest end but illustrative enough. This exploitation goes up with increased intensity. China is supporting Sudan president Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir yet he is required by Hague for charges against humanity. All this is dues exploitation and benefits which are not in the interest of the citizens. This is not the issue, for now, world donate to save a life in Africa.

Lastly our own problems as “Africa” are what are making me call for the world to donate to save a life in Africa. We have poor leadership, where everyone wants the best for him or herself, forgetting citizens. Politicians will do anything to get votes even kill! Corruption is the way of life from the least office to the highest with the amounts involved increasing exponential. Leadership is tribal and people do not care about the integrity of their leaders, whether a thief, corrupt, murderer as long as he or she belongs to their tribe, they will support him. Governments have no strategic plans to ensure food security. The list is long and endless. For now, world donate to save a life in Africa if only this is going to be a lesson.
